Nestled in the woods behind Roche Harbor Resort, amidst a field of blooming daisies, find a mysterious outdoor stage. On beautiful July nights this becomes the site of Shakespeare under the Stars, Island Stage Left’s annual, outdoor Shakespeare Festival.

Island Stage Left has been a top quality, professional theater troupe of San Juan Island for almost two decades. By keeping their overhead low and productions simple, they provide great theater to all islanders and visitors, regardless of social or income status.

Shakespeare under the Stars Performances start at 8:00pm on select July & August nights. Dress warmly and bring a blanket, chairs are provided. You’ll never need reservations, just be on time to get a good seat. Donations are appreciated.
